Bicycle Safety Tips
Here is some simple, yet good advice while riding:
- Defensive driving is crucial. Drivers will sometimes not look both ways, so always be paying attention.
- Helmets aren’t required by law, but wear one if you’re going anywhere with lots of traffic.
- Always use hand signals and use your bell to get the attention of drivers.
- Always lock up your bike. Although bicycle theft is not very common in town, you should still be very careful.
- Remember to use sunscreen and a hat!
