Cerveceria Buclas

📍 5 de Mayo 36, Bucerías, Nayarit, 63732

Cerveceria Buclas, named after the colloquial term for Bucerías, has been making waves since its establishment in 2017. This Nayarit-based craft beer venture has not only impressed with its incredible flavors but has also played a pivotal role in supporting the local craft beer scene. By collaborating with other brewers and advocating for legislation to streamline the industry, Buclas has become a pioneer in promoting and elevating the craft beer culture in the region. In 2023 they opened their beer garden and taproom!

When it comes to the brews, Buclas doesn’t disappoint. As one of the best craft beer options in the bay, my favorites are the IPA, stout, and Vienna lager. To add to the appeal, their happy hour from 5-7 pm offers beers for $45. The food menu at Buclas has also been stepping up its game, with the mouthwatering, sizable burger being my favorite. Their chicken wings may be the best in town with buffalo, parmesan, and lemon pepper flavors.

Buclas Brewery is more than just a place to enjoy exceptional craft beer; it embodies the spirit of community and collaboration. With their dedication to great flavors, support for local craft breweries, and inviting beer garden atmosphere, Buclas has established itself as a must-visit destination for both beer enthusiasts and those seeking a vibrant culinary experience in Bucerías.

Yambak Brewery

Great craft beer, music, pizzas, and a rooftop terrace overlooking downtown Puerto Vallarta. Yambak Restaurant & Bar opened its doors in Sayulita on December 3rd, 2011, and now branched out to open this great spot in downtown Puerto Vallarta.

Monzon Brewery

📍 Romantic Zone, Puerto Vallarta

Monzon Brewery offers IPAs, blondes, and some other unique craft beer styles. To top it off, they have a great food menu including a delicious burger, mac & cheese, and fish tacos. Make sure to order the TATER TOTS!!! Beers are also available to go to take to the beach.

Bahia de Banderas Brewery

PERMANENTLY CLOSED

📍 Del Canal 11, Bucerias, Nayarit, 63732

Aaron, a Bucerias native, had his first flight of beer when he was visiting a friend in Colorado. That beer flight seems to have changed the course of his life because he decided to get a work visa and stay a few years in Colorado to learn everything he could about brewing. After taking as many courses as he could, he sold his business, returned to Bucerias, and started building Cerveceria Bahia de Banderas. It took him 3 years to build the brewery, and all without any investors! Despite being “off the beaten path”, it has become one of our favorite spots in town to hang out. They offer IPAs, Golden Ales, Stouts, Blondes, and Pale Ale craft beer. And every single one is delicious. Plus, their food is great! Their menu includes sliders, spring rolls, and shrimp tacos that we highly recommend trying.
